UNITED want Alexis Sanchez signed in time for tomorrow's Premier League game at Burnley.

The Reds have agreed terms with the Arsenal playmaker after gazumping league leaders City, but a swap deal involving Henrikh Mkhitaryan is yet to be concluded.

United have until noon today to sign Sanchez in order for him to be eligible to play in tomorrow's game at Turf Moor, where the player scored a 92nd-minute winner for Arsenal in November.

Sanchez and Mkhitaryan arrived at their clubs' training base yesterday morning, shortly after Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said Sanchez was 'likely' complete his protracted move to United in the next 24 hours.
