Six Flags Great Adventure Begins Search for 4,000 Seasonal Workers

JACKSON - Six Flags Great Adventure and Hurricane Harbor, the region's biggest tourist attraction, rolled out its plan to hire 4,000 workers for its season that begins in March.

Recruiters from the Jackson-based amusement park said they would work more closely with their young workers to help them develop their careers, noting that the experience high school and college students will pay off down the road.

"We provide a place for many young workers to gain their first valuable work experience, as well as a stepping stone for others to grow and reach that next level in their careers," said Christine Parker, director of human resources and administration.

It is part of an annual ritual for Six Flags Great Adventure, a business that essentially creates a miniature city – if the city had thrill rides. …
