On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the Millburn Millers Swim Team trekked down to Perth Amboy to compete in the Super Essex Conference Championships hosted by the Raritan Bay Area YMCA. All 12 lady teams were represented, but the Cougars of Columbia took home the first place trophy, a feat last accomplished for CHS in 1983.

For Millburn, the eighth seeded 200 Medley Relay (Livia Maguire, Clare Johnson, Devin Genderson, Katy Shepard) finished sixth (2:01.59), scoring 18 points. Senior, co-captain, Megan Balbo - Millburn's high point winner (29) - dropped nearly two seconds to capture the 200 Freestyle (1:58.67), while freshman, Genderson (2:08.71) came in 12th place in that same event.
