Highly-Rated Axel Turns Villan for Rest of Campaign

UNITED defender Axel Tuanzebe has explained why Jose Mourinho wanted him to go on loan to Aston Villa, and outlined his aims for the rest of the season.

Tuanzebe has joined the Championship side on loan for the second half of the campaign after struggling for game-time at United, having made just three appearances all season.

Tuanzebe will be managed by United great Steve Bruce and is also joined at the club by fellow Reds academy graduate Sam Johnstone, who has been impressing at Villa Park on loan from United this season.

Rochdale-raised Tuanzebe said he was very happy with his move.

"I am delighted to be here," he told the club's website.

"It's an exciting time at this football club and everyone is pushing for promotion - that's the big aim, you can feel that here. …
