Regarding the letter "Flaws Are OK": Dave Majernik of Plum somehow has rationalized that having a dishonest, rude, crude, disgraceful, egotist "grabber in chief" in the White House, whose latest gaffe is to refer to countries with people of color as (my words) "fecal abysses," is a good thing. Of course, I dismissed Mr. Majernik's banter as soon as I saw his words "climate-change hoax."

What does it take to see the obvious? Ninety-seven percent of people who study climate for a living say climate change is real. The 3 percent who do not are shills for the fossil fuel industry. Some newspapers will not even print letters from readers who call climate change a hoax, because it is a waste of newsprint. Remember the testimony under oath a few years back that tobacco didn't cause cancer? …
