County to Hold Second Round of Parks Meetings

HACKENSACK - Bergen County this week will hold the second round of public meetings on its proposed parks master plan, which officials say will provide a blueprint for the future of the county park system.

Hosted by the county's partners from the Rutgers Center for Urban Environmental Sustainability, the meetings will include a discussion about the data gathered during the first round of public meetings held earlier this year, explore potential concepts and ideas for the parks, and talk about the results of an online Rutgers survey that officials have invited the public to take, said Alicia D'Alessandro, a spokeswoman for County Executive James J. Tedesco III.

"This is another opportunity to get more feedback," D'Alessandro said Monday.
