Perhaps Washington Post contributor Ed Rogers (Feb. 5 Perspectives, "Damning Memo") should put down the 55-gallon drum of Fox News Kool-Aid that he's obviously been drinking and touch back down to planet earth for a few moments.

I would need an entire page of the PG to refute all of the total nonsense in his op-ed piece regarding the infamous "Nunes memo," so let me address just two points.

"The Nunes memo challenges the entire premise of the special counsel's investigation," says Mr. Rogers. Several prominent Republican members of Congress have publicly and strenuously disagreed with this ridiculous statement. Perhaps the most convincing was Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C. When asked about the memo's impact on the Russia probe, he said, "I actually don't think it has any impact on the Russia probe" and "There is a Russia investigation without a [Christopher Steele] dossier. …
