Based on professional experience, work, and interests, retirees seeking purposeful engagement will be connected with nonprofits who depend on volunteers with the specific skills they need to help them achieve their strategic goals and best serve their communities at the Ridgewood Senior Lounge on March 9, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The Bergen Volunteer Center will guide recruiting, interviewing, and training for prospective Redefining Retirement volunteers. The Makerspace at Ridgewood High School is open to adults of all ages on Mondays from 4 to 9 p.m. during the school year when schools are open. Do you like to tinker, experiment, build, fix, invent, and/or craft? Bring your ideas and work on projects while sharing the Makerspace equipment.
