City Starlets Hailed among the Leading Teen Talents

TWO City youngsters have been named in a team of Spain's brightest young talents.

And that means the Blues have as many players in the Futbol Draft 2017 team - which selects the best teenage footballers in the country - as Real Madrid, and two more than Barcelona.

Exciting youngster Brahim Diaz has made the team, while right-back Pablo Maffeo - currently enjoying a fine loan spell at City's sister club Girona - is the other.

Every year, the Futbol Draft awards aim to promote Spanish youth development and previous recipients include City ace David Silva, United stars Juan Mata and David de Gea, Chelsea's Cesc Fabregas and Barcelona star Gerard Pique.

Diaz is named as the No. 10 in the 'gold' side, while Maffeo makes the cut at right-back in a team that also includes rising Real stars Borja Mayoral and Jesus Vallejo. …
