Canada is third in the medal standings heading into the final three days of competition in Pyeongchang.

As of this morning, Canada has 24 overall medals -- nine gold, seven silver and eight bronze.

Norway is the overall leader with 35 medals -- 13 of those gold -- followed by Germany with 25, including 13 gold.

Canada won't repeat Brad Jacobs' 2014 Olympic gold medal winning effort this time.

Kevin Koe's rink will have to settle for a chance at winning a bronze in men's curling in Pyeongchang after losing to the U-S this morning 5-3.

The Americans will now take on Sweden for the gold while Canada and the Swiss will battle for bronze on Friday.
