The following CORRECTION/CLARIFICATION appeared on March 2, 2018. Justin Greenawalt is a board member of Preservation Pittsburgh. His role with the organization was incorrect Monday in a story about a speaker series at East Liberty Presbyterian Church. He will speak April 6 about architectural styles in Pittsburgh's East End.

Four speakers will discuss Pittsburgh during the Prohibition era, architectural styles in the city's East End, the seven movie theaters of East Liberty, and local statues of George Washington and Guyasuta this spring and summer.

The free talks, sponsored by the East Liberty Valley Historical Society, will start at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel at East Liberty Presbyterian Church, 116 Highland Ave., 15206. Here is the lineup of speakers:

March 2: Richard Gazarik, a retired Tribune-Review journalist, is the author of a 2017 book, "Prohibition Pittsburgh," and his topic will be "Some East Liberty Tales of Vice and Crime. …
