County Police Find No Evidence of Crime Involving Plum Teacher

An Allegheny County Police investigation into the conduct of a Plum High School teacher has ended without charges, and authorities said allegations against the educator showed no evidence of criminal wrongdoing.

Teacher Drew Zoldak was put on paid leave pending the investigation, his attorney Al Lindsay said. Mr. Lindsay declined to comment on the nature of the allegations.

"We're gratified to see that no charges are being filed," he said.

Acting superintendent Gail Yamnitzky did not immediately respond to a request for comment. It is not clear if and when Mr. Zoldak will be reinstated.

The allegations came several years after high-profile cases involving sexual misconduct in the district. Three former Plum teachers were sentenced to prison after convictions related to inappropriate contact with students. …
