A RUGBY league player was finally brought down in the street after being Tasered SIX times following a 150mph car chase with police.

Scott Moore, 30, 'grunted and growled' as he wrestled with officers who were trying to detain him for almost an hour in Leigh.

They used a stun gun six times, but Moore pulled the wires from his body and kept attacking them.

One officer needed surgery for the injuries he sustained in the 'desperate and terrifying struggle', during which Moore used his size and experience as a professional rugby player to avoid being captured.
