The Kennedy family name still has sway in Hollywood, it seems.

Not only have comedian Larry David and singer-actress Barbra Streisand donated to Democrat Chris Kennedy's Illinois gubernatorial campaign fund, but now Dan Aykroyd has cut a "Blues Brothers"-themed ad for Kennedy.

The ad plays on the cult movie, which ends with characters played by Aykroyd and John Belushi paying a tax bill to a clerk played by Steven Spielberg to save an orphanage.

Kennedy isn't the only candidate in the Illinois Democratic primary with Hollywood connections. State Sen. Daniel Biss announced plans to campaign with "The Social Network" star Jesse Eisenberg.
