NAT040 - (Indigenous-Health-Survey) OTTAWA. x-07s. A new survey of First Nations health shows more people living on reserves are graduating from high school and fewer teens are smoking or drinking. Jonathan Dewar is the executive director of the First Nations Information Governance Centre, which is releasing the third ever regional health survey on reserves. He says there are lots of reason to be pleased about the progress, but notes education rates, incomes and health outcomes are still lagging behind the Canadian population as a whole. ("..be done.")
