JORDAN Clark hit a century as Lancashire began their pre-season tour to Dubai with a thumping win over the UAE Blues.

The all-rounder smashed seven sixes and 10 fours as he made an unbeaten 117 off just 58 balls to help the Red Rose to a 225-run victory in the 50-over game.

There were plenty of runs for all the Lancashire top order as they posted a mammoth 395-4.

Karl Brown and Haseeb Hameed put on 116 in just 20 overs for the first wicket, before Brown went for 65, caught behind off the spin bowling of Karthik Meiyappan.

Steven Croft upped the run rate with a blistering 95 off just 56 deliveries, while Hameed - who was captaining the side with Liam Livingstone in New Zealand with England - retired on 85 as Lancashire looked to give players time out in the middle. …
