North and South Korea have agreed to hold a leaders' summit next month.

South Korea say high-level preparatory talks were held at a border village Thursday, with plans for North Korea's reclusive leader Kim Jong Un to meet with the South's President Moon Jae-in at a border village April 27th.

The news comes just days after Kim's surprise trip to longtime ally China, to meet with President Xi (shee) Jinping.

Kim may also meet with U-S President Donald Trump this spring. (1)
