KENNEWICK, Wash. - Morgan Geekie scored a hat trick as the Tri-City Americans completed their four-game sweep of the Kelowna Rockets with a 5-3 win on Thursday in Western Hockey League playoff action.

Geekie supplied the game-winning goal for the Americans at 19:05 of the third period. Jordan Topping and Nolan Yaremko also scored for Tri-City.

Dillon Dube scored twice for Kelowna and Kyle Topping also found the back of the net.

Patrick Dea made 25 saves for the win and James Porter stopped 36 shots for Kelowna.

The Americans went 0 for 3 on the power play and the Rockets were 1 for 3 on the man advantage.
