A Nova Scotia man is once again welcome to stay at Victoria's stately Fairmont Empress hotel more than a decade after he was black listed due to a raucous incident involving some pepperoni-fuelled seagulls. Empress spokeswoman Tracey Drake says Nick Burchill apologized for the destruction caused by about three dozen seagulls who flew into his room in 2001, trying to feast on the spicy pepperoni he left sitting near an open window.
