Bus Attack Nothing to Do with Result at Anfield - De Bruyne

KEVIN De Bruyne refused to blame the attack on the City team coach for their poor start at Anfield last night.

The Blues conceded three goals in the opening half-hour after the bus was pelted with missiles as it approached the ground for the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final.

Windows were smashed as supporters crowded around the bus on the streets around the ground and Uefa is set to look into the incident after Liverpool apologised for the incident.

That happened after some Liverpool supporters tried to organise a 'coach greeting' which was intended to 'scare them back to Mancland.' .

But De Bruyne played down the matter afterwards, saying that the players were unaffected.

Asked what it was like on the bus, the Belgian said: "It was OK.

"I don't mind supporters doing that - I've had it a couple of times for my team and it's a nice feeling. …
