Police Seek Identity of Naked Man Who Jumped from Mt. Lebanon Church Roof

A naked man sprinted several blocks through Mt. Lebanon before he scaled a church and jumped off its roof Thursday.

Police said the man, whose identity had not been determined, was in critical condition at UPMC Mercy.

Officers were dispatched shortly before 5:30 p.m. to the 700 block of Scrubgrass Road for a report of a naked man running through the neighborhood, Mt. Lebanon police Lt. Duane Fisher said in a news release late Thursday. Witnesses directed officers to Bower Hill Community Church at the corner of Moffett Street and Pinoak Road.

Lt. Fisher said the man had climbed to the top of the roof near the steeple. He walked on the highest portion of the roof and did not respond as officers called to him. The man then stepped off the roof and fell about 50 feet to the driveway, Lt. …
