Keeper Could Make Return to Homeland after Tough Time at Reds

UNITED reserve goalkeeper Ilias Moutha-Sebtaoui could join Anderlecht after struggling for playing time this season.

The 19-year-old Belgian started for Anderlecht's B team in their 4-0 friendly defeat to Brentford at Griffin Park last week and could make a permanent return to his homeland.

Moutha-Sebatoui joined United from Standard Liege in 2015 around the same time as compatriot Indy Boonen and made 14 starts for the Under-18s last season.

However, he has been restricted to just two appearances this term in the UEFA Youth League, with U18 coach Kieran McKenna preferring Alex Fojticek and Matej Kovar, who trained with the first team earlier this month.

Despite an unfulfilling two-and-a-half years with United, Moutha-Sebtaoui made two penalty saves in the November 2016 draw with Liverpool U18s and started last season's FA Youth Cup defeat to Southampton at Old Trafford. …
