Happy Ending for Six Pups Snatched in Raid

FRENCH bulldog puppies stolen by a gang from a house in Rochdale were found less than 24 hours later.

The animals - named Don, Django, Brutus, Scarface, Savage and Queenie - were taken from their owner's home in Partington Street in Castleton on Saturday night.

Police said five people forced their way into the home and demanded mobile phones.

The gang searched the house before taking the dogs, all pedigree and aged under one year old.

No one inside the home at the time was hurt.

Officers released an image and descriptions of the dogs in a bid to find them last night.

But hours later, they were found.

Police have not revealed details of where they were discovered, but said they would be reunited with their owner 'as soon as possible.' .

Officers are still investigating the raid and are appealing for anyone with information - or any witnesses - to come forward. …
