GARY Neville handed out his personal awards for the season on Monday … and he admitted it was KILLING him!

The former United star, now a respected Sky Sports pundit, made gave City five of the nine Monday Night Football awards, including player of the year, young player of the year, most improved player and manager of the year.

Neville chose Kevin de Bruyne as his player of the year, saying Salah had been "incredible" but that the Belgian international had "brought a level of quality into the Premier League this season that you very rarely see - passes, the ability to control a football match, and the ability to make David Silva look like the second-best midfield player in City's team."

The former Red then picked Leroy Sane as his young player of the year, mentioning him in the same breath as Thierry Henry, Cristiano Ronaldo, Ryan Giggs and Arjen Robben. …
