In his April 28 letter "Medicaid Work Requirements Could Hurt Entrepreneurs," Seth Bush suggests that he would have no time to fill out some government forms for his free Medicaid - simply because he has entrepreneurial aspirations. If he thinks "filing taxes is burdensome" now, "son, you ain't seen nothing yet"!

True entrepreneurs always put their own skin in the game. Further, they have to personally raise their needed capital - and not rely on welfare-type programs to subsidize their dreams. Mr. Bush seems to feel that taxpayers should donate free health care to his new business. However, true entrepreneurs raise startup funds from credit cards, family, friends, bank loans, the Small Business Administration and private investors, but only if their business plan merits such investments. …
