De Gea Hints He'll Be at OldTrafford for Next Term

DAVID de Gea insists an FA Cup triumph is 'not enough' for United but has hinted he will still be at the club next season.

United's defeat to West Brom on April 15 gifted the title to City with five fixtures remaining and Jose Mourinho's side require four more points to finish the season in second before they face Chelsea in the FA Cup final on May 19.

Despite a variable campaign for United, De Gea has excelled again and on Tuesday received the players' player of the year - as well as an unprecedented fourth Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year award.

The 27-year-old's contract expires in 2019 - although United have the option of an additional year - and De Gea claims United must improve 'in a number of areas' next term.

"It has not been quite enough this season," De Gea told Sky Sports News. …
