NAT132 - (Gang-Murder) KELOWNA, B.C. x-21s. A man convicted of second-degree murder in the death of British Columbia gang leader Jonathan Bacon has been sentenced to life in prison without parole for 18 years. Jason McBride will also serve a consecutive 15-year sentence for the attempted murder of four others. Sergeant Brenda Winpenny with the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit says the investigation into the shooting cost more than nine million dollars. ("..successful prosecution.")
