NAT064 - (NB-Flooding) DIEPPE, N.B. x-17s. The Trans-Canada Highway between Fredericton and Moncton, New Brunswick, is closed to traffic because flood waters from the Saint John River have crossed the four-lane highway in the Jemseg area. Jean-Marc Picard, executive director of the Atlantic Provinces Trucking Association, says there will be added costs in fuel and time delays for the thousands of trucks that transit the main east-west corridor in the run of a day.
