(Iran-Nuclear) (Audio: P01) (WATCH FOR DATING)

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is urging U-S President Donald Trump not to pull his country out of the 2015 Iran nuclear agreement.

He says an Iran with nuclear weapons poses risks to the world.

The European Union is reiterating its support for the agreement, noting the International Atomic Energy Agency has certified 10 times that Iran is complying with its obligations.

But Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu say Tehran has lied about its nuclear ambitions and cannot be trusted. (8)

(NB-Flooding)

Emergency officials say that Saint John, New Brunswick could be below flood stage by Saturday.

The Emergency Measures Organization says waters appear to have crested in some areas and are finally beginning to recede in southern regions.

Water levels in Fredericton have fallen about 30 centimetres from yesterday and by about 10 centimetres in Saint John.

But about 100 roads are still flooded, the Trans-Canada Highway is still closed between Fredericton and Moncton, and it could be weeks before some people are allowed back into the worst areas. (8)

The young man who killed four people and injured seven others in shootings at a home and a school in La Loche (LOSH), Saskatchewan in January of 2016 will be back in court today.
