P03 - (Trans-Mountain) OTTAWA. x-21s. Finance Minister Bill Morneau says if Kinder Morgan decides not to build the Trans Mountain pipeline expansion, other investors will step forward. And he says the federal government is willing to indemnify the Trans Mountain expansion against unnecessary delays that he says are politically motivated. TAG: Kinder Morgan is holding its annual meeting today in Calgary. Morneau's statement about other possible investors appears to be an effort to ratchet up the pressure on the company in advance of its May 31st deadline on receiving certainty about the project.
