Trio of VIPs Visit United Dressing Room after Defeat

SIR Bobby Charlton, Avram Glazer and Ed Woodward were among the visitors to the United dressing room following their FA Cup final defeat to Chelsea.

Shortly after the Londoners lifted the trophy, a sizable contingent of United officials made their way past the mixed zone to greet the club's disconsolate players.

As was the case after the semifinal win against Spurs a month ago, Sir Bobby, Glazer and Woodward were joined by managing director Richard Arnold and former executive vice-chairman David Giill.

Sir Bobby and Woodward, the club's current executive vicechairman, often salute United players after games - regardless of whether they win, lose or draw.

Co-chairman Glazer has watched a number of United games in recent weeks, including the shock defeat to West Brom last month. …
