RYAN Giggs believes United have no need to make wholesale changes to challenge for the Premier League title next season.

But both he and Paul Scholes feel Jose Mourinho is crying out for a midfield creator.

The United manager will look to recruit some fresh faces at the end of the season as he looks to bridge the gap to record-breaking champions City.

However, Giggs believes the Reds only need to recruit a 'couple of marquee signings' if they are to become title challengers.

"Overall, United have got a good squad so I think it is probably about making a couple of marquee signings where they are going to really make a difference and bridge that gap with City," said the Reds legend.
