CLUBBING institution Sankeys will be returning to Manchester later this year - for one night only.

The famous Manchester club left its home at Beehive Mill in Ancoats for good back at the start of 2017 when the building was sold to be turned into flats.

But on Saturday, September 8, it will be back in the city to host a very special event at Victoria Warehouse in Trafford. The club announced: "It's finally here... we return to our spiritual home of Manchester for a huge homecoming party.

"Since the closure of our former soap factory in January 2017 we have been plotting a triumphant return to our beloved city. We have toured the country, selling out shows from Torquay to Newcastle but home is always where the heart is and our heart will always be in Manchester.

"So, it is with great pride that we invite you to the incredible Victoria Warehouse for our most ambitious project yet. …
