The Kilauea (kill-uh-WAY'-uh) volcano is causing new potential problems for those on Hawaii's Big Island, as lava flows onto a power plant site, threatening an explosion of toxic gases. TAG: Hawaii's County Civil Defence has reported that the power plant's wells were successfully plugged in anticipation of the lava flow. The plugs protect against the release of gas that could turn toxic when mixed with lava.

NAT076 - (HKO-Sask-Bus-Crash-Straschnitzki) CALGARY. x-11s. The rehab for Ryan Straschnitzki (strazh-NIT'-skee) is about to enter a new phase. Straschnitzki was paralyzed from the chest down when a bus carrying the Humboldt Broncos junior hockey team was in a collision with a semi-trailer on a rural highway north of Tisdale, Saskatchewan on April 6th. His father, Tom Straschnitzki, says as of Wednesday his treatment will continue at the Shriners Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. …
