NAT135 - (US-Trump-Tariffs) WASHINGTON. x-14s. American companies are feeling anxious about the future after the United States imposed tariffs on steel and aluminum imports from Canada, Mexico and the European Union. Canada has retaliated with approximately 16.6-billion dollars worth of its own tariffs on American goods, while Mexico plans to retaliate by targeting U-S cheese and other products. Al Juhnke (JUHN'-kee) with the Nebraska Pork Producers Association says tariffs are already hurting hog farmers and raising the price of steel for fencing, building material and machinery.
