EDMONTON. x-12s. Most of Alberta's school superintendents are getting a salary cut, under new rules announced by the province. Education Minister David Eggen says current salaries are out of step with comparable jurisdictions and need to be clawed back. Greg Jeffery of the Alberta Teachers' Association says he is hearing from some colleagues upset because teachers have not had a pay hike in years.
