A TEENAGE boy and a man have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after shots were fired at two properties in Cheetham Hill.

The 25-year-old man and 16-year-old boy have been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Officers believe two incidents, both involving shots fired at separate properties in the area, are linked. Police were called to reports of shots fired on Galsworthy Avenue shortly before 12.40am on Friday, May 25.

Two men on a 'moped-style motorbike' approached a house and fired several rounds before the pair fled in the direction of Wordsworth Avenue, it is understood. Three days later, at around 2am on Monday, police were called to a property on Adelaide Street, in Cheetham Hill, to reports of bullets being shot through the window of a house while five people were inside. …
