Clint Frazier Rejoins Yankees for Doubleheader

DETROIT — It was another cameo for outfielder Clint Frazier, called up by the Yankees and returned to Class AAA Scranton/Wilkes-Barre after Monday's day-night doubleheader.

Frazier went 1-for-4 with an RBI single as the starting left fielder in the opener, a 7-4 win against the Tigers.

And Frazier also started in left in the nightcap, going 1-for-2 with a walk in a 4-2 Tigers win. Frazier was called up as the "26th man" roster allowance for doubleheaders. The Yankees have a full house of outfielders, which meant Frazier had a brief stay as a Yankee last month; he played one game at Kansas City on May 19, going 1-for-2 with a double and two walks.
