ROSEDALE, B.C. x-17s. Protesters gathered outside a location in B-C's Fraser Valley this morning as Prime Minister Justin Trudeau met with members of an Indigenous group that monitors and advises on pipelines. Several First Nations strongly support federal government plans to take over and complete the Trans Mountain pipeline between the Edmonton area and Burnaby, -- a pipeline Trudeau has repeatedly said is in the national interest. But Wild Salmon Defenders Alliance president Eddie Gardner, who is also an elder of the Sto:lo (STAW'-low) Nation in the Fraser Valley, says Trudeau has overstepped his authority.
