WINNIPEG. x-09s. A descendant of the man credited with inventing Pizza Pops has brought back the original recipe and is selling the tasty treat again in the city where the snack began. Paul Faraci (fah-RAW'-chee) invented what would become a staple in dorm rooms across the country in Winnipeg in the 1960s. He ended up splitting with his Pizza Pop business partners and the company was later sold to Pillsbury. Faraci died earlier this year and his grand-nephew is offering the Italian cheese-filled turnover again. Phil Faraci says his uncle always wanted to bring the snack back.
