VICTORIA. x-20s. When a pod of orcas made an unexpected visit to Victoria's busy harbour yesterday, whale watching captain and marine search and rescue member Jackie Cowan says everything stopped. Cowan says the pod of four or five whales passed right through the seaplane landing lanes, briefly halting that traffic, and a tug and barge were even idled for a short time. Cowan says many private vessels also rushed in for a look but she says the whales were not in danger.
