Dive into Classic Teen Films at Victoria Baths

Article excerpt

TWO of the best-loved teen films of all time are coming back to the big screen at Manchester's Victoria Baths.

Nineties chick flick Clueless and 80s coming-of-age classic Ferris Bueller's Day Off will be shown at the grade II* listed former swimming baths next month.

Hosted by pop-up cinema company The Village Screen, the events will see the pool filled with deckchairs for film fans to recline in while they relive all the action.

There will also be a food hall inside filled with street food stalls, a bar serving Thornbridge brewery beers, wines, prosecco and soft drinks, and giant games to play.

Ferris Bueller's Day Off will be shown on Friday July 13 from 7.30pm to 11pm, and the Clueless screening takes place on Saturday July 14, from 7.30pm to 11pm.

Tickets to both events start from £13 for adults and £10 for children, students and seniors. …
