Swinton Ace Tyson Eases Fears after Bad Knock

SWINTON centre George Tyson has confirmed he did not suffer a serious injury in the Lions' defeat to Halifax at Heywood Road on Sunday.

Play was halted for 16 minutes while the former Oldham player received treatment for what appeared to be a nasty knock.

However, Tyson took to Twitter to ease concerns for his health.

"Letting everyone know nothing too serious, just going to be in pain for a couple of weeks I'm guessing," he wrote.

Stuart Littler's side also lost centre Chris Hankinson to a suspected concussion and he will be required to pass the relevant protocols if he is to feature in the trip to London this weekend.

Meanwhile, Warrington Wolves halfback Tyrone Roberts will return to his native Australia at the end of the current Betfred Super League season. …
