The official languages commissioner in New Brunswick -- Canada's only officially bilingual province -- says the government still isn't getting it right. TAG: In her final report as commissioner, d'Entremont says the percentage of New Brunswickers whose mother tongue is French reached a low of 31.9 per cent in 2016, compared to 33.8 per cent in 1971. The percentage of New Brunswickers whose mother tongue is English has remained stable at about 65 per cent.
