NAT134 - (Hammer-Sickle-Vodka) OTTAWA. x-13s. The Ukrainian Canadian Congress believes a brand of liquor it calls offensive is no longer available in Canada. Executive director Ihor (EE-hore) Michalchyshyn (mye-kihl-CHIH'-shin) says he's pleased that Alberta recently pulled Hammer and Sickle vodka from shelves following a complaint by his organization. Michalchyshyn assured his office in February that it had also removed the brand. He says the Soviet symbol is one of hate. ("..clothing, whatever.") (SOURCE:The Canadian Press)
