Members of the Pittsburgh Black Elected Officials Coalition added their voices Saturday to the call for revoking bail for Michael H. Rosfeld, the East Pittsburgh police officer accused of killing teenager Antwon Rose II during a traffic stop June 19.

Officer Rosfeld, 30, was charged Wednesday with homicide after District Attorney Stephen Zappala determined he had no reason to shoot Antwon, 17, three times as he ran away from the traffic stop. Officer Rosfeld had stopped the car because he suspected it had been involved in a shooting in North Braddock minutes earlier and ordered the driver to get on the ground, but Antwon and another passenger ran.

At the officer's arraignment Wednesday, District Judge Regis Welsh Jr. released him on $250,000 bond with electronic home monitoring. In a news release, the elected officials asked for Common Pleas Judge Jeffrey A. …
