REGINA. x-17s. Protesters camping in teepees outside the Saskatchewan legislature say they're not going anywhere until the province responds to their concerns about the high number of Indigenous children in provincial care. A delegation from Justice for Our Stolen Children presented a list of demands for change in the system when they met with five cabinet ministers yesterday in Fort Qu'Appelle. Camp spokeswoman Robyn Pitawanakwat (pih-tih-WAHN'-uh-kwaht) says Indigenous families need to raise their own children.
