CITY have agreed a £10m deal with Southampton to sell England under-21 goalkeeper Angus Gunn.

The Saints are due to unveil their new capture today or tomorrow after agreeing a fee which could see the final fee rise to around £15m.

It is not known whether the Blues have a buy-back clause for the 22-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Norwich.

Southampton moved for the Norwich-born youngster - son of former Canaries and Scotland keeper Bryan Gunn - when it became clear he wanted to carry on playing first-team football after an impressive spell at Carrow Road.

He played all 46 matches in the Championship last season, as well as appearing in five domestic cup games.

Gunn is tipped as a future England international but the success of Ederson at the Etihad means his opportunities would be restricted. …
