¦ July 7, 1997: Spin bowler Shane Warne sprays the champagne around after Australia beat England in the Third Test of the 1997 Ashes series at Old Trafford.

A total crowd of more than 87,000 saw England lose by 268 runs. Australia won the overall Ashes series 3-2 with one match drawn.

Warne took six wickets for 48 runs in England's first innings at Old Trafford and followed it up with another three-wicket haul in the second.

He overtook Richie Benaud as the most successful Test leg-spin bowler when he notched up his 249th Test wicket during the match.
