Salford Sign Their Ed Boy on Two-Year Deal

SALFORD have confirmed that on-loan Ed Chamberlain has agreed a two-year deal with the club.

The versatile back arrived with Greg Burke from Widnes Vikings last month in a deal that saw club captain Weller Hauraki move in the opposite direction.

And after starting the last two matches at full-back, Chamberlain has signed a permanent contract with the Red Devils.

"I'm enjoying my rugby here and I'm looking forward to continuing playing at Salford," said the 22-year-old.

"I've played at full-back in the past few games, but I can also move into the centres and onto the wing, so hopefully this allows me the opportunity to get plenty of game time.

"I've settled in well with the rest of the team and Ian Watson and his coaching staff have been great with me. …
